The Inspiration
Hawks Landing — Licensed Medicaid Agency
It starts with
hawk.
Hawk is the reason this exists. He’s behind every decision we make and every standard we hold. Raising him has shaped how we see support—what actually works, and what families truly need.

Our World
Seeing the world through a different lens.
Meet the Founder
I’m Dowry.
As a mother of five with a Master’s in Education and Special Education endorsement, I’ve spent years navigating the systems designed to support diverse learners.
My professional background gave me the tools, but my life at home gave me the perspective. I know what it’s like to look for support and realize that "good enough" isn't enough when it comes to the people we love.
"I believe our kids deserve more than just being watched; they deserve to be engaged, encouraged, and connected with support workers who truly care."
At Hawks Landing PDX, I’ve built a team that understands this deeply. We aren't just providing a service; we are providing the real, consistent support that I wanted for my own family.

The Heart of the Agency
Educator by trade.
Mother by heart.
My professional training provided the framework for clinical excellence, but it’s the lived experience of advocacy that defines our agency's soul. I believe that support should be as sophisticated as it is compassionate.
"Our approach bridges the gap between high-level educational theory and the everyday reality of loving and advocating for a child."
At Hawks Landing, we don't just provide care; we provide intentional, evidence-based engagement that honors the dignity and potential of every individual we serve.

More than just coverage.
Support should feel meaningful. It should open doors, build confidence, and create experiences that help children grow into who they are.
Our kids deserve more than just being watched—they deserve to be engaged, encouraged, and connected with support workers who truly care.
This isn’t just a business. It’s personal.
